ABOUT LAUREN
Over a decade ago, Lauren began her work as an educational consultant, guiding students searching for, applying to, and choosing the best colleges for their individual needs. Recognizing the lack of transparency and overwhelming amount of misinformation surrounding college admissions, Lauren set out to demystify the process and help alleviate the stress incurred by students and their families. She later added her in-demand essay brainstorming and editing services, working both in person and remotely with students in Connecticut and beyond.
As a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and member of the C3 College Consultant Consortium, Lauren adheres to the highest quality professional standards when working with students at all levels to find their best fit colleges. She has extensive experience working with families to find the right financial fit and a special interest in helping students secure institutional merit-based scholarships.
When she is not working with clients or touring college campuses, Lauren spends time volunteering in her community. She has served as a Book Buddy for students in the Bridgeport Public Schools and an English language tutor for women at Mercy Learning Center. She provides pro bono guidance in college planning to students through The Discovery Museum in Bridgeport.
A Harvard College Scholar and honors graduate of Harvard College with a degree in English and American Literature and Language, Lauren loves helping students discover their unique voices through the process of writing their narrative essays. She derives tremendous satisfaction from knowing her students thrive at their chosen colleges.
She lives in Trumbull, Connecticut with her husband, Jonathan. They have three daughters: Sarah, an alumna of Brown University; and Rachel and Gabrielle, recent graduates of Harvard College and Lafayette College.
