I offer comprehensive college planning services for students, beginning as early as eighth grade. By encouraging the best complement of academic path, extracurricular activities, work, and community service opportunities, consistent with students' interests, I ensure that they are the most competitive college applicants they can be.
College List Building
I help students navigate the college search by working with them to create a list of best fit colleges for their evolving needs, taking into consideration academic interests, financial concerns, and personal preferences. In addition, I guide them through the complex process of demonstrating interest to colleges to help increase their chances of admission.
College Application
I work with students to design and implement a personalized strategy for each aspect of the application process. This includes application timing, essay brainstorming and editing, securing letters of recommendation, resume development, and preparing for admissions interviews.
Essay Review
I provide comprehensive critiques of essays for the Common Application, supplemental applications, honors programs, and merit awards, providing feedback regarding grammar, syntax, organization, and content.
